I started trading Forex 6 years ago. Back then, I initially used a demo account to make myself familiar with the trading platform. Eventually, with my goal of improving my trading skills, I stumbled upon a trading competition named ForexBall. In the contest, I utilized my own technical analyses and I made sure that tight SL and TP levels were put into place. I think the most important thing for traders is the continuous learning process. Learning about the market and perfecting your trading strategy will help you get ahead of other traders. Furthermore, I do my best to control my emotions whenever I have open positions. By doing so, I am able to make sure that all my positions are well thought of.

First of all, I thank my Allah for making me win this amazing contest. Thanks to the ForexBall for organizing the competition. I think, to become a winner, you must follow the market trend and trade with fundamental and psychological factors. In the competition, I traded XAGUSD and NZD/USD in this round. The market is full of opportunities. I have constantly been studying from professional trading websites. By doing so, I got to update myself as regards important, current market data. I have participated in the ForexBall several times already. In the trading contest, I had to really gather enough patience in my trading performance to be able to maximize my chances of profiting. Generally, I consider myself as a fundamental trader. I keep myself on the lookout for various economic news that can significantly impact my trading. I value the experience that I had being a participant in the ForexBall. I am so proud that I was able to win first place. My advice to the other participants is to have patience—lots and lots of it!

Advertisements online gave way for me to find out about Forex trading about 7 years ago. In the years of trading that I already have, I believe what is crucial to be able to succeed in trading is keeping a cool head, never let emotions get the best of you. Also, you must religiously follow your trading plan to minimize potential losses and increase potential profit. I keep myself educated by reading online articles and by following economic calendars to know about the most important market events. For the ForexBall, I have been in more or less 45 rounds already. What I like about the competition is that it helps traders better our trading strategies. It is also a good venue for us to experience the pressures of trading and to understand how to deal with these pressures. Trading EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, and USD/CAD, I utilized a perfect balance of technical and fundamental in my approach. My only advice to contestants is to think fast and act fast.

I have always been interested about ways I can earn more. About six years ago, while searching about possible investment opportunities over the internet, I was able to come across Forex. Since then, I have actively been trading currencies. In my opinion, it is crucial for a trader to always study about the ins and outs of Forex. In my case, I have been reading a lot of economic articles and forecasts. Along with doing these, I have also signed up for a couple of online Forex courses. For the ForexBall competition, I used a technical approach in trading my chosen currency pairs. I have been in multiple rounds of the contest already, but this is my first time to be in the top three. It makes me very proud to place second for this round. With enough patience, all my hard work paid off. My advice to the other contestants is to always analyse risks.

It was 5 years ago when I stopped working that I found out about trading currencies. In my trading experience, I have realized that strategy is very crucial when trading; and that from that trading strategy that a trader can derive timeliness in placing positions. To keep myself updated about the market, read a lot of economic articles and market news. I also read a lot of Forex books to brush up on my trading knowledge. I have participated many times in the ForexBall contest, and I traded AUD/JPY by following the market trend. To the contestants for the next rounds, always trade while following the trend; never place a position without being sure about the financial market’s over-all situation. Never go against the market trend.

For seven years now, I have been trading in the Forex market. I have always been into investments. In my years of trading, I have realized the importance of knowing how to open positions. To learn more about trading, I read documents and books about trading and I also attend training seminars. For about two years now, I have been participating in the ForexBall contest. In the competition, I risked much more than I would in a real account. For my analysis, I relied on both fundamental indicators and the technical ones.

This is the fourth time I got a prize in the ForexBall competition. Unlike the other times, I haven’t spent much time in front of the screen studying the market. I rather checked a Forex calendar and placed my bets on the presumably more volatile pairs. With a bit of luck, I managed to get 40k+ profit by midweek; standing quite comfortably in second position in my league. As the end of the week approached, I took more concern about my trades. As it usually happens, I then made some mistakes, but fortunately, they didn’t end up in a stop-out, and I could eventually stop the bleeding in my profits. Finally, I ended in second position, for which I am very happy about.

In 2011, I started trading Forex. Since then, my experience taught me the importance of patience in order to be a more effective trader. As a trader, I also do my best to not involve emotions whenever I plan my trading positions. This way, I have a clearer overview of what may or may not happen when I open my position. I usually ready forums. In the ForexBall, I have been in 2 rounds already. And I truly enjoyed every single round.

Placing 3rd place in the ForexBall, is a very humbling milestone in my trading career. For the past year, I have been making use of several technical indicators to help me plan my trades. I closely looked out for support and resistance levels. In my competition experience, being in the ForexBall for 20 times already I have learned to stay calm despite the sudden movements in the market. A clear and rational mind is very helpful in making my positions well thought of; and hence, I ended up with highly profitable trades. I am so proud of my achievement! To the other contest participants, do your best not to make uncertain transactions.

For five years now, I have been an active Forex trader. In my opinion, timing is everything. To keep myself updated, I attended a course in the USA to learn more about technical analysis. I look at news and see where the market is in correlation with the news and technical position. For this round, I managed to get the 1st place in the competition. This is after being in 70 rounds in the ForexBall. I relied on classical analysis and news analysis. It has been a great experience – as the famous golfer Gary Player once said: “The more you practice the better you get.” I have learned that success is achievable but like any skill it takes time and consistent practice and patient attention. Nothing is impossible in this wonderful competition. Everyone has the chance to win big time!

I learned about Forex trading from online ads. Since 2009, I have been reading more about it. In my opinion, success in this area requires a lot of practice and diligence in learning in order to gain experience and to develop skills. Do not ever be greedy. I believe the more greed, the more losses. I educate myself further by reading on market news and fundamental analyses. For the ForexBall, I relied mainly on Fibonacci. I utilize a good mix of technical and fundamental in my trading strategy trading AUD/USD, NZD/USD, EUR/USD, and GBP/USD. My advice to other traders in the contest is to never give up.

I managed to get the 2nd place in the competition for the second time where I relied on classical analysis and news analysis. Sometime along the way, I did a bit of Scalping thanks to the low spreads available in the ForexBall competition. Nothing is impossible in this wonderful competition. Everyone has the chance to win big.
