I have been trading for about a year now since I first encountered Forex via the internet. In my time trading Forex, I have learned about the importance of having enough experience in trading. It takes a lot discipline to be able to properly manage your money. I believe that a trader’s greatest competition is himself. He must always be calm and rational. To be able to beat the chart, you must be able to beat yourself first. I learned a lot about Forex on the internet. I make sure to expose myself to different methods of trading so as to develop my trading abilities to the fullest. For about a year, I have been joining different rounds in the ForexBall competition. In the ForexBall, I have always followed the trend in the market. A balanced mix of both technical and fundamental trading is the key to opening successful positions. This is exactly what I did when I traded EUR/USD, GBP/JPY, GBP/CAD, and GBP/AUD in the contest. My advice for next round’s contestants is to never go against the trend; never give up!

I have been trading for almost 5 months now. The market is full of opportunities. This is precisely the reason why I got interested with Forex. Hence, I have experienced how liquid the Forex market truly is. I like trading currencies because the transaction costs are low. Moreover, a trader is sure that there would not be any price manipulation due to the high level of transparency we get from the trading platforms. To survive in the market, a trader must continuously aspire to develop his/her skills. For the ForexBall competition, I have taken part in many rounds already. I enjoyed trading in the contest because of its low spreads. I usually use technical analysis because I feel more comfortable doing so.

I found out about Forex from Facebook advertisements. I did not know anything about it before; hence, I read a lot of references freely available online. I studied about Forex by myself, and it took a lot of patience for me to really understand. I have been trading for three months now. It is very beneficial for beginners to become very aggressive in studying further about the financial markets. Another very important this is to always get your facts right before executing an order. This is the first time I have ever participated in the ForexBall competition and it feels so fulfilling to be able to immediately place third. In the contest, I traded USD/JPY, USD/CAD, and EUR/GBP due to the amount of information I was able to gather regarding them. Fundamental approach was what I used in the ForexBall. I am more secure relying in economic news and events. The competition gave me an opportunity to practice and improve on my trading skills. For participants in the next rounds, never lose your patience. I wish you good luck!

I got introduced to Forex trading about four years ago. In my opinion, the success of traders is dependent on how well they study about Forex—about how well they know about managing their investments. Personally, I search the internet and different libraries for material that can help me with my trading and I practice a lot. I have been trading in the ForexBall competition for around 80 times already. With my trading and asset management skills, I became more confident in handling the pressures of the market while trading NZD/USD, EUR/USD, and AUD/USD. I prefer technical analysis over fundamental. I do not really rely on news as basis for my trading positions. The greatest lesson I was able to get from my experience in the contest is that losses are important parts of a trader’s life. Losses give traders a chance to learn more and be better. My advice to other participants is to never give up.

It was 5 years ago that I discovered about trading currencies from a forum. Since then, I have been actively trading Forex. In my experience, I have realized that patience is very crucial when trading; and that from patience, a trader can derive timeliness in placing positions. To keep myself updated about the market, I follow forecasts of trading experts. I also watch economic news, and I read a lot of Forex books to brush up on my trading know-hows. I have participated for 200 times in the ForexBall competition, and I traded Silver using classical analysis. To the contestants for the next rounds, good luck; never place a position without being certain about the market’s over-all trend!

2010 marked the start of my trading. It all began when I saw an advertisement on the World Wide Web. In my opinion, knowledge about the Forex market plays a crucial role toward the success of a trader, not to mention money management skills. Books and online references on Forex trading help me a lot in keeping myself informed. To practice what I learn in my self-studying, I join trading contests. I have been participating in the ForexBall for a couple of months now. I like the ForexBall competition because I can accurately see how my competitors are doing. I have been in 100 rounds so far. Hence, I am able to adjust my trading performance accordingly. In my whole experience, I learned how important having self-control is when trading. My advice to future participants is to do their best to finish the round. Giving up should never be an option. The ForexBall is a good way to train and be better!

I was able to get into a Forex forum online a year ago. Since then, my trading performance has been more progressive. To me, what is important for a trader to have in order to become better is patience. Being able to know how to control one’s emotions and to be able to know the right time to enter and exit the market is essential. In this round for the ForexBall, my strategy mainly involved fundamental analysis. In particular, I would say that my biggest mistake was that I was not too patient. This is probably what I want the other trading contestants to learn—patience is really very crucial in one’s trading performance.

Five years ago, I got into trading because it is a convenient alternate source of income. I like the fact that I can actually trade from anywhere, anytime. Short-term trading is what I usually do. I get myself updated about Forex trading through reading different trading books and analyzing K-line maps; of course, through my personal trading experience as well. I have participated in the ForexBall for a couple of times already, and I like it because of the low speads. In the competition, I primarily relied on MACD, Moving Averages, and Stochastics. The experience of being able to place third is such an accomplishment not only because of the prize but because of the chance to learn further as well.

I have been learning how to trade for a few months now. I learned about Forex by accident. And every day I learn something new. I have been interested about financial markets, and because Forex is the biggest one, offers large leverage and is the easiest to get into with small capital. I decided to learn about it a little more; and finally, I ended up trading. In my experience trading, I have come to a conclusion that it is significant to be aware of financial news, create your personal trading plan, and to stick to it no matter what. Personally, I read a lot about Forex. Naturally, I test out on a demo account all my newly discovered trading strategies. If they work out well, I use them on my real account. This is the 24th time I have joined the ForexBall.

Learning about Forex trading from the World Wide Web, I have now been trading for 3 years. From my understanding, it is very crucial to practice the trading skills that one has to really be able to execute trading strategies more effectively. It is also very important to rely on your analysis of the market. I had joined the ForexBall for more than 11 times, and I enjoyed the whole experience of it. Winning second place is one of my greatest achievements in life. As for the other aspiring winners in the trading contest, I encourage you to keep calm while trading. Moreover, make sure to equip yourself with a sufficient amount of patience.

I thank God for having led me to discover Forex trading. I am enjoying every bit of my trading. When trading, I believe what traders must remember is that having a clear mind and controlled emotion would make them more effective in their trading. Being able to think with a rational mind while trading will increase the probability of profit. To further educate myself, I enlist in Forex courses online. I make sure that I understand the concepts and I apply them on my personal trading approach. In the ForexBall, I used Elliott waves and Gann indicators in trading. I realized the importance of having patience when trading. I encourage the other participants to take their time in executing their positions. It is mostly better to take trading slowly but surely.

It has been 7 years since I learned about Forex from a friend. Every day, I watch the news to learn about significant economic news which would help me out with my trading. So far, in the ForexBall, I was already able to join more than 10 rounds. In the trading competition, I generally used a lot of technical analysis when I traded major currency pairs. Being able to place in the Spread FX round is such a milestone in my trading life. It makes me feel very self-fulfilled. My advice for the other contestants is to make sure to use a lot of the technical indicators on the platform to increase the profitability of each trade. I managed to get the 2nd place; everyone has the chance to win big in this competition.
